Soil stabilization is an application of increasing importance as our terrain is subject to the stresses of development and climatic changes. Any slope from which vegetation has been removed – either as a result of construction or development or by the ravages of fire – is prone to high rates of topsoil loss. Not only is soil washed away, but reseeding efforts can also be greatly harmed by erosion.
